Employer
What exactly is Talent Maze?
Talent Maze creates a forum that allows Employers to leverage the global market of external search firms, while at the same
time streamlining their process and decreasing administrative demands. The concept creates a supply and demand driven
marketplace where Employers are able to access the best Recruiters and ultimately the best candidates, all over the world.
How much does it cost to use Talent Maze?
Talent Maze is always a free service to Employers. In the event of a hire, Employers only pay whatever placement fee
they agreed to pay when they first posted their requisition. Talent Maze is free to Recruiters until they make a
placement. In the event of a placement, Talent Maze retains 20% of the placement fee from the Recruiter as a cost of
leveraging the marketplace.
What types of guarantees are made on placements?
Talent Maze guarantees all placements for ninety (90) days from the New Hire's start date. If a New Hire terminates
employment within the first 90 days, Talent Maze issues a full refund to the Employer. Talent Maze must be notified
within the 90 days of such a termination. Notifications after the 90th day of employment will not be honored.
How does Talent Maze account for OFCCP regulations?
Talent Maze acknowledges Employers who work with the United States Federal Government may be required to be OFCCP (Office of
Federal Contract Compliance Programs) compliant. As such, Talent Maze has built our technology around being fully OFCCP
compliant for our customers. While Talent Maze will capture and retain OFCCP data on an as requested basis by Employers,
we highly encourage federally regulated Employers to independently capture and retain this information for all candidates
screened or submitted within and outside of Talent Maze.
How does Talent Maze’s non-solicitation agreement work?
Talent Maze highly discourages Recruiters from recruiting employees out of Employers with whom they work through the Talent
Maze system. By submitting candidates to Employers, Recruiters agree to the following non-solicitation terms: "Marketplace
Recruiters" agree to not solicit employees from Employers for whom the Recruiter has placed a candidate through Talent Maze in
the past year. "Enterprise Recruiters" agree to not solicit employees from Employers for whom the Recruiter has submitted
a candidate through Talent Maze in the past year.
We hire people with very specialized skills sets or in a high demand industry. Will I really get quality candidates?
One of the most significant values of Talent Maze is the ability to connect Employers with very specific needs to Recruiters
who either already have those type of candidates in their active pipeline or who specialize in that industry or skill set. By
using Talent Maze, Employers are leveraging literally thousands of external Recruiters they would neither have the time nor the
desire to engage individually. The power of the marketplace cannot be overstated. Think about how companies like eBay™
and AutoTrader™ have transformed the car and other merchandise buying and selling experience.
What if we already have a submitted candidate in our database / ATS?
The first Recruiter to submit a specific candidate to a requisition retains the rights to that candidate specifically for the
requisition in question for 180 days from the date of submission. Subsequent submissions from other Recruiters using the
same candidate through Talent Maze are disqualified. If an Employer confirms the candidate in question already exists within
their internal database / ATS, the Employer has the option of rejecting the candidate through Talent Maze and specifying the reason
for the rejection as appropriate. Recruiters are not entitled to the rights of a candidate who already exists within an
Employer's database / ATS.
What is the Talent Maze "Reputation Score?"
The "Reputation Score" is a patent-pending algorithm summarizing and simplifying a variety of quantitative and qualitative metrics
related to Recruiter's usage of the Talent Maze marketplace. The "Reputation Score" is an easy way for Employers to identify
the most reputable, consistent and successful Recruiters in the marketplace.
How do I keep from being overwhelmed with under qualified candidate submissions?
Talent Maze believes the "Reputation Score" will incent Recruiters to submit only qualified candidates. (Recruiter’s
"Reputation Scores" are diminished by submitting unqualified candidates, by not receiving candidate’s permission before submission
and by spamming Employers with numerous candidates.) Additionally, Recruiters may be banned from the marketplace for
unprofessional or unethical behavior. Employers also have the option of blocking individual Recruiters from contacting
them or submitting candidates to them through Talent Maze. In spite of these options, there may be some Recruiters who submit
too many marginally qualified and / or disinterested candidates. In those circumstances, please contact
Talent Maze. Talent Maze takes confidentiality and professionalism very seriously and will work expeditiously to correct the problem.
I do not want to be solicited directly by Recruiters. How does Talent Maze protect my confidentiality?
As an Employer, your contact information will not be disclosed to members of the Talent Maze marketplace. Talent Maze has designed
an internal communication system in order to maintain the anonymity of Employers. You can communicate exclusively through the
Talent Maze system and maintain your confidentiality or you may choose to share your contact information with specific Recruiters. Either
way, the power to control the style and frequency of communication with Recruiters is in your hands.
What if I only want to work with certain recruiters and not the entire marketplace?
Talent Maze empowers Employers a variety of ways, not the least of which is by enabling Employers to select on a requisition-by-requisition
basis which Recruiters have access to their openings. Each Employer has the option of building a "Preferred Vendor List" unique to them
within the Talent Maze system. Subsequently, Employers may choose to only open requisitions to Recruiters on their "Preferred Vendor List,"
only to Recruiters who have at minimum "Reputation Score," only to Recruiters who meet minimum industry and/or functional expertise, or to the
entire marketplace. Regardless of the outcome, complete control over who works on which requisitions rests in the hands of the Employer.
How do I block a Recruiter from contacting me through Talent Maze?
Employers have the option of blocking specific Recruiters from contacting them within the Talent Maze system. As an additional line of
security, please contact Talent Maze, and let us know of any circumstances where you need a Recruiter barred
from contacting you or banned from the marketplace. Talent Maze takes confidentiality and professionalism very seriously and will work
expeditiously to resolve the situation in a mutually satisfactory way.
What happens if multiple recruiters submit the same candidate?
It is not uncommon for candidates to be represented by more than one Recruiter. All candidate submissions are time / date stamped by
Talent Maze. The first Recruiter to submit a candidate to a specific requisition is given credit as the representative of that candidate
to the job requisition in question. Talent Maze does not condone blind submissions of candidates (i.e., the Recruiter in question has
not received permission from the candidate in question to be submitted to the requisition in question) and will disqualify such submissions
and potentially ban such Recruiters from the marketplace.
How do I post new requisitions?
From your "Employer Dashboard," simply click the "Create New Requisition" button or choose "Create New Req" from the "Requisition" menu at the
top of the screen. Either option will take you to the "New Talent Requisition" screen where you can enter the particulars of the job in
question. Please note: once the requisition is submitted, the placement fee amount entered and requisition title are locked. In most
cases, the placement fee offered may be increased (but not decreased) after the requisition's initial creation. All other data fields are editable.
How do I edit requisitions after I have posted them?
From your "Employer Dashboard," simply hover over the title of any open requisitions and select the "Edit Requisition" button or choose "Edit Req" from
the "Requisition" menu at the top of the screen. Either option will take you into the content of the requisition where you can modify the
particulars of the job in question. Please note: once the requisition is submitted, the placement fee amount entered and requisition title are
locked. In most cases, the placement fee offered may be increased (but not decreased) after the requisition's initial creation. All other
data fields are editable.
How do I put "on hold" or cancel requisitions?
When you enter an open requisition, two of the options listed on the page are "cancel" and "on hold." Canceled requisitions can be reopened at a
later date. Similarly, requisitions put "on hold" can be reopened on canceled. However, they differ from "canceled" requisitions in the
fact that the position is still open, but Recruiters cannot submit additional candidates.
How do I review candidates submitted against my open requisitions?
Talent Maze will notify you via email when you have new candidates submitted to your open requisitions. Additionally, when you first log into
your "Employer Dashboard," the default view shows you all of your open requisitions and how many pending candidates you have for each (you can also
access this information by simply clicking the "Open Reqs" option from the "Requisition" menu at the top of the screen). From this screen you
can review, advance, or reject submitted candidates.
We have multiple internal Recruiters. How do you handle multiple users?
Talent Maze is designed to accommodate multiple users from the same company. Users share a corporate profile and other common features, yet
retain their individual access and pipeline of requisitions (Employers) or candidates (Recruiters). We highly encourage users to share the
value of Talent Maze within their organizations.
When and who do we pay when a placement occurs?
Once an Employer makes a placement using Talent Maze, Talent Maze issues an invoice to the Employer for the full placement fee agreed to at the time
the requisition was posted. Talent Maze guarantees the placement for ninety (90) days after the New Hire's start date. On the 91st day
from the New Hire's start date, Talent Maze pays 80% of the placement fee to the Recruiter who referred the candidate. Talent Maze retains the
remaining 20% of the placement fee.
How long are we obligated to pay for a submitted candidate?
The first Recruiter to submit a specific candidate to a requisition retains the rights to that candidate specifically for the requisition in question
for 180 days from the date of submission. If an Employer hires the candidate for any position within 180 days from the date of submission, the Employer
is obligated to pay the placement fee listed for the original position to which the candidate was submitted.
What are the terms and conditions of using Talent Maze?
For more information on the terms and conditions agreed to when creating a profile on Talent Maze, click here. Talent
Maze reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, but will notify all registered users when it does so.
How does your referral program work?
Talent Maze is growing and we would like your help spreading the word to other Employers. They say relationships and networks are worth their weight
in gold. We could not agree more. When a referred Employer joins the Talent Maze network, our goal is to reward the referring party. For

Recruiter
What exactly is Talent Maze?
Talent Maze creates a forum that allows Recruiters to market great candidates to companies with open job requisitions. The
concept creates a supply and demand driven marketplace where Recruiters are able to access top Employers all over the world.
Why should I give up a portion of my placement fees to use Talent Maze?
The Talent Maze marketplace provides Recruiters access to exponentially more Employers than they would ever have time or ability
to engage. Recruiters also have an immediate outlet for their excess inventory of qualified, interested candidates. Most
importantly, leveraging Talent Maze frees up a considerable amount of Recruiter time previously dedicated to marketing and customer
acquisition. The resulting free time empowers Recruiters to spend more time sourcing additional candidates and increasing their
number of placements.
How do I get paid when a placement occurs?

agreed to at the time the requisition was posted. Talent Maze guarantees the placement for ninety (90) days after the New

who referred the candidate. Talent Maze retains the remaining 20% of the placement fee.
How do I find out about newly posted requisitions?
You can review new requisitions by checking the marketplace frequently using the "Job Search" feature or by creating and saving
repetitive job searches. Both features are available from your "Recruiter Dashboard."
What are the minimum requirements before I can submit a candidate to an Employer?
Talent Maze highly recommends only submitting truly qualified and interested candidates. Otherwise, Recruiters risk minimal
responsiveness from Employers and potentially a lower "Reputation Score." Before a Recruiter submits a candidate, at a minimum
the candidate should meet the criteria listed in the requisition and express a clear interest in being presented to the Employer in question.
How do I submit candidates to posted requisitions?
After identifying the requisition in question by using the "Job Search" feature from your "Recruiter Dashboard," you may submit a candidate
by opening the requisition and clicking on the "Submit Candidate" button. Once your candidate is submitted you will be able to track
his / her progress and review all communications with the Employer in question by using your "Recruiter Dashboard." Talent Maze requires
all candidates must be qualified and engage to determine interest in the specific requisition in question before submission. Talent
Maze does not permit candidate "spamming" and will ban Recruiters who submit unqualified and/or disinterested candidates against requisitions.
How do you protect the confidentiality of my candidates?
Talent Maze takes data privacy and security very seriously. All candidates submitted through Talent Maze are done so over encrypted
SSL data entry pages. Additionally, Talent Maze retains all data in secured, decentralized, encrypted and redundant databases behind
a corporate firewall. Talent Maze will not share personal data or any data submitted through the marketplace with anyone other than
the intended audience. For more information on data privacy or security, please feel free to contact us at any time.
What happens if multiple Recruiters submit the same candidate?
It is not uncommon for candidates to be represented by more than one Recruiter. All candidate submissions are time / date stamped by
Talent Maze. The first Recruiter to submit a candidate to a specific requisition is given credit as the representative of that candidate

an Employer confirms the candidate in question already exists within their internal database / ATS, the Employer has the option of rejecting
the candidate through Talent Maze and specify the reason for the rejection as appropriate. Recruiters are not entitled to the rights
of a candidate who already exists within an Employers database / ATS.
How long are Employers obligated to pay for a submitted candidate?
The first Recruiter to submit a specific candidate to a requisition retains the rights to that candidate specifically for the requisition in
question for 180 days from the date of submission. If an Employer hires the candidate for any position within 180 days from the date of
submission, the Employer is obligated to pay the placement fee listed for the original position to which the candidate was submitted.
What if an Employer never responds to my submissions?
Because of the scale of the marketplace, it is possible that some Employers will only respond to the Recruiters with the strongest candidates. As
such, Talent Maze recommends only submitting truly qualified and interested candidates. Otherwise, Recruiters risk minimal responsiveness
from Employers and potentially a lower "Reputation Score."
What is the Talent Maze "Reputation Score?"
The "Reputation Score" is a patent pending algorithm summarizing and simplifying a variety of quantitative and qualitative metrics related to
Recruiter's usage of the Talent Maze marketplace. The "Reputation Score" is an easy way for Employers to identify the most reputable,
consistent and successful Recruiters in the marketplace.
Could I be banned from Talent Maze?
Talent Maze reserves the right to ban users for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to attempting to circumvent the process in order
to keep 100% of the placement fee, spamming employers with unqualified or disinterested candidates, unprofessional communication or behavior, abuse
of the marketplacek, or repeated negative feedback.
What happens if an Employer doesn't pay?
All Employers agree to standardized Net 30 from start date payment terms. Realizing some Employers may occasionally be late paying invoices,
Talent Maze requires a standardized 90 day from start date guarantee on all hires. The vast majority of Employers pay within the 90 day
period. (Talent Maze holds the funds in escrow pending satisfaction of the 90 day guarantee.) Unfortunately, Talent Maze cannot pay
Recruiters until we are paid by the hiring Employer. We will make every attempt to retrieve the placement fee prior to the expiration of the
guarantee period in order to insure timely payment to Recruiters.
What if we already work with an Employer listed on Talent Maze?
Recruiters are highly encouraged to continue working with Employers they already have relationships with. In some cases, because of the size
and/or disparate nature of business units within some Employers, Recruiters who have an existing relationship with an Employer may gain access to
requisitions (or business units) they are not already exposed to. In the event a Recruiter fills a requisition with such an Employer through
Talent Maze, the typical Talent Maze cost model will be utilized. If Recruiters make a placement with existing Employer clients exclusively
and completely outside of the Talent Maze system, the typical Talent Maze cost model will not be utilized.
Can I contact Employers directly?
Talent Maze honors the confidentiality of Employers. As such, Employer's contact information is not disclosed through the Talent Maze system.
Talent Maze does provide a robust internal communication system for Employers and Recruiters to interact throughout the recruiting process without
compromising their confidentiality. If an Employer chooses to share their personal email and/or phone number with individual Recruiters, they are more
than entitled to do so. Independent of the methods of communication, once a hire occurs, it must be reflected in the Talent Maze system in order
to qualify for the placement guarantee and insure uninterrupted processing.
How does Talent Maze’s non-solicitation agreement work?
Talent Maze highly discourages Recruiters from recruiting employees out of Employers with whom they work through the Talent Maze system. By submitting
candidates to Employers Recruiters agree to the following non-solicitation terms: "Marketplace Recruiters" agree to not solicit employees from

Programs) compliant. As such, Talent Maze has built our technology around being fully OFCCP compliant for our customers. Talent Maze will
require additional demographic information from Recruiters as requested by OFCCP regulated Employers. Without this information, individual candidate
submissions to OFCCP regulated Employers will not be allowed. This information is not shared with Employers (unless they are audited by the OFCCP)
and once submitted the information cannot be edited or deleted.
